Selamat Pagi, everyone !
I do warn against this in my App however can this be a timely reminder.
This is a poor little 6 year old’s scarring, 6 months after her Bali holiday.
Please DO NOT get a temporary “Henna Tattoo” or allow your children to get one when in Bali, as the chemicals used can cause permanent scaring and an adverse reaction and it is possibly a concoction of hair dye, bleach, boot polish and kerosene. Xxx
What the hell was a 6 year old getting a tattoo for anyway. What were the parents thinking.
Lynnette, with the popularity of tattoos in general its fairly common for kids to play with temporary tattoos ( often mimicking their parents) in Bali ( and other holiday hot spots) they are available everywhere and promoted as a little harmless fun. Parents would never intentionally set out to harm their children in this manner I am sure, also I am fairly confident the Balinese that use this as a form of income would not know of the potential effects it may have. So to respond to your question , the parents are thinking that it is just a “temporary tattoo” that’s what they are thinking.
