Thinking of something to do today? Staying in a villa and the kids are going a little stir crazy or low cost hotel which doesn’t have many other kids or water slides, then enjoy a day at the stunning seaside Pan Pacific Resort. Pack your hats, bathers, towels and sun cream and head off around 9:30 am after some breakfast as the Pan Pacific Resort is approximately half an hour from Seminyak ( depending on traffic) and is just next to one of the islands most famous temples, Tanalot. The views are simply breath taking as the resort and Driftwood Restaurant overlooks the ocean and the lagoon like pool area. With 3 different water slides, the smallest for toddlers another slightly longer, then the longest one which much to Beaus delight even went underground, the kids will have a ball. There is a volley ball net, spa and huge waterfall into the largest pool.  There is even a golf course with the most breathtaking views if you fancy a few rounds. The Driftwood Restaurant is set up a little higher so you can have a good view of the kids in the largest pool area, kick back and enjoy a few drinks while the kids make new friends and wear themselves out running up the stairs and zooming down the slides.
There is a delicious range of western and Indonesian options and a great Kids menu as pictured in the photos, and some reasonably priced wines too. It costs around 100 000 Rupiah per child to swim which is then taken off your Food and beverages and 200 000 for Adults. Just be sure to perhaps wrap up lunch and your day around about 2 or 3 to avoid the sunset traffic heading to Tanalot and the day trippers all heading back to the Kuta area in the later afternoon. A transport guy should charge around 300 000 – 400 000 Rupiah to take you here, wait for you and bring you home.
